Mother’s Day isn’t always beautiful. For some of us, Mother’s Day brings deep grief. Even on a Porch Swing Mother’s Day, heartache creeps in. If you’re one of the sisterhood, if this day brings mixed feelings, I wrote Porch Swing Mother’s Day for you. Sending hugs.

I pray for my friends. If you’d like me to pray for you, particularly today, please leave a note below or send me a message. XO
Mother’s Day is hard when you want children and don’t have them and don’t know if you ever will. It is a choice to trust God and know He won’t give you less than His best for you.
Definitely. Sending hugs.
Your message tugs at my heart-strings. We all need to know the deep pain felt by those who long to be mothers, but aren’t yet. Thank you for sharing. May God continue to bless your ministry and your family.
Thank you, Katherine!
Mother’s Day is a difficult, painful day for many, for a variety of reasons. Those whose mothers mistreated or abandoned them. Those who have lost a child, as I have. Those whose mothers have passed on. I love to hear the stories where God’s redemption shows up, often when we don’t expect it. Thank you for sharing your story.
Thanks so much for your note, Donna!
Absolutely beautiful. You touched my heart yet again. Thank you for this!
XO
